Interesting point worth digging into, as we've only scratched the surface of it... In theory, all the languages, including those from the PC version, are present in the game's files but aren't being used. It might potentially be possible to mod the game to make them work.

The story of DroneZ on Dreamcast (a unknow Unreleased) is quite simple. The studio never received a Katana Dev Kit, but more importantly, it never obtained SEGA's approval to release the game. Ultimately, it was released on Xbox (Japan exclusive) and PC.

1/2 I have around 150 to 160 different Dreamcast games in GD-R format, not counting the unreleased ones. Since they are red discs, they can be either betas or final versions. That would give me around 160 out of the 217 games in the PAL Dreamcast full set in this format (70 %).

I know this might sound crazy, but I think that nowadays we should avoid opening factory boxes, unless there are still thousands of them, of course. It might sound silly, but I also think that the way they were stored and originally left the factory is something worth preserving.
