Every so often, I find myself trying to reconcile the different facets of Aerith’s character into a coherent whole where the result is someone who *isn’t* a horrible friend. The only way I can do it is if the devs meant “child-like” in reference to friendship and impulse control.
You can pick this up from Sinclair Lewis stories set in the Midwest in the 1910s and 1920s. And European immigrants fell victim to panics over pro-German saboteurs and Bolshevik sympathizers in that period.

Michael Rulli (R-OH) have leveled racist attacks against immigrant communities in their districts. As I note in CAMPAIGN TRAILS, a century ago those same racist attacks were being made against people named Emmer and Rulli.
I will never understand cleriths, because I can’t think of a single GOOD reason to behave the way they do. Which leaves only BAD—unstable, illogical, immoral—ones. To regularly make a scene being an ass over a video game. STILL. After 30 years. 🤷♀️

Hey, #cloti what are the new Cloud and Tifa outfits in the trailer about? I really was hoping we’d see at least Cloud’s AC outfit post Mideel.
I would love it if search engines would stop ”helping” me by searching for shit I didn’t ask for. Even using quote marks and plus signs doesn’t help. If I ask it to find something, THAT’S what I want to find. If it thinks I mean something else, how about having it fucking ASK, and then accept NO?
Several years ago when I heard about people using "ok, wallet" I thought it might be a funny thing for Tifa to say to Rufus. (Or maybe Yuffie, but mostly Tifa.) Because I figure Rufus would think he had a chance with Tifa given his wealth and his ego. (Spoiler: he does not) #FF7 1/4

I am deeply amused by how bad AI is with numbers. NUMBERS. It’s one of the giveaways that something was written by AI. “He typed four words”, the AI will confidently say, and then reveal that the message was 6 or 3 or any number other than 4. The Commodore 64 could count, y’all.

Sometimes it’s really funny when people make a typo but still spell a word. Like when characters just need “ten minuets” to do something. Today I saw Tseng described as Aerith’s “closet companion”. 😂

The problem with writing a time travel fix-it is that the most effective way to fix all the horror is to prevent Shinra from ever being a threat. Which means no SOLDIERS, and thus no badass fights between Cloud and the 1sts… which is 99% of my reason for writing the story in the first place.
