Devastated and shocked to learn I can’t play Big Walk on Playdate :(

The coolest use for the Vision Pro
One day there will hopefully be a house on this land Over the last year, I admittedly haven’t used my Vision Pro a ton, but fairly recently I discovered a super handy use that it’s absolutely incred...

iOS 27 desperately needs an “if I move an app it should never move everything else” option
Man, The Odyssey was so hyped up for me… and it completely delivered holy crap that was amazing. You really have to see it in theaters
Why can we customize the camera button on the lock screen but not the camera app that launches when we swipe left? That’s weird. That’s weird, right?
The branding on this printer is too loud, let me just remove it with some acetone - I am not a smart man
Dang Majora's Mask actually looks pretty awesome in blue 🤔
I made a new app (first time in 3 years) and it would REALLY help me if you pre-ordered it (for free). What's My Set is a simple, accessibility set counter for workouts with accessibility as a priority. The handy rest/interval timers bump the set counter for you. apps.apple.com/us/app/whats...

The Fitbit Air is interesting
The Apple Watch is one of the most fascinating pieces of modern technology for me. A gorgeous screen, an abundance of sensors, and a bonkers amount of computational power in a tiny little package that fits on your wrist. It reminds me of the Vision Pro in that a good amount of the time I put it on I can’t help but smile at how far technology has came.

No charging stands for the Fitbit Air yet? I'll just make one and 3D print it, ezpz (STL file if anyone wants: makerworld.com/en/models/2...)
Okay let's see what the hype is about (so far pretty cool)
Tahoe what are we doin, how is system data itself taking up so much storage space that I have *negative* 127 GB of storage left, does that mean I owe Apple storage
Dang Backblaze is memory hungry on Tahoe, what are we using 33 GB of RAM for?
Accessibility is hard. Setting mom’s new phone up and at the larger text sizes you can’t read what you’re supposed to say to Siri so you can’t progress 🥲
While we're complaining about tvOS video players can we touch on the YouTube app tanking half the videos to 240p as soon you change playback speed to 1.5x
Weird sensation has set in after 6 months where the iPhone Air doesn't feel thin anymore, it just feels normal/baseline, but picking up other phones feels like a prop phone
Any products that you all recommend that are like SPAN smart smart electrical panels but without all the cloud dependency bs and can be ran locally? (I don't love the idea of something so important being reliant on a server somewhere existing forever.)
With all the hype Rivian R2 news, I thought I'd detail my hopes and dreams as a current R1 owner christianselig.com/2026/02/rivi...
Rivian R2 wishes as an R1 owner
After 7 years with a Tesla Model 3, we picked up a gen 2 Rivian R1S in April of 2025. We still have the Model 3 as a second vehicle, but it’s been really cool experiencing a new electric vehicle from ...

Curious, any Canadian folks have experience with getting larger home batteries installed? It seems like per the electrical code, going beyond 80 kWh can be tricky (not much if you have 2 EVs), so interested if folks have navigated this

Discovery: If you have Hue lights and want a single Hue dimmer switch button to *toggle* lights on/off, this is really slow in Apple Home (you need to run an actual Shortcut). In Home Assistant there's just a toggle command that is literally 10x faster. 2.5 seconds -> ~200ms 🥳
Anyone have a “smart lights” flow they really like? Currently have Hue and don’t love the lag/occasional bugs/weird switches so probably moving to Lutron, but I *do* love how Hue changes color temperature over the course of the day. Anyone pair both smart bulbs and switch?
Docker noob here. Anyone seeing Docker on Mac getting IPs completely mixed up, where destination IPs are getting assigned as the source IP? Isn't that like… a security issue? Or am I being a noob? (New Mac mini, new Docker install, no iCloud Private Relay, no VPN)
Every year I wonder what architecture at Figma makes it so tricky to add support for the new iPhone sizes
