every day i see mentions of fire emblem discourse like bullets whizzing over my head while i sit in a pile of mud smashing dolls together
it's hard to explain to non-southerners what an impact dolly had on the south. she grew up dirt poor and spent so much of her time and earnings trying to ensure more kids didn't grow up like that. it wasn't just giving money to feed kids, it was giving the education. rest in peace queen
