That one guy from that video

It is unfortunately very common for DV victims to stay with and/or try to appease their assailants. I can't speak for the alleged victim here, but I've had apparent victims beg me not to arrest the assailant, turn me away at the door, pick the assailant up from jail, tell the DAG not to charge, etc.

Y'know how in dating apps when you use up all your "likes" and then they give you someone really attractive so that when you try to like them they're all whoa sorry bud can't do that unless you pay us? I think they should tell you if they use your profile as subscription bait.

Tried to buy new running shoes but of course they have nothing in a size 14 in store. No love for big feet. But they have this wacky foot-scanning technology now that gives way more information about my clodhoppers than I ever thought I'd have.

In case anyone needs this said: simple failure to comply with law enforcement orders does not give law enforcement the legal or ethical justification to use lethal force. If that were the case I could have mag dumped into the crowd on Jan 6th and no one would have objected.

Homan on people getting killed by ICE: "It comes down to one simple fact -- these people failed to comply with law enforcement ... all they had to do is comply. If they did, they'd be alive today."
