For the latest stop on “Nick in Your Neighborhood,” I’m satisfying my sweet tooth with a visit to Nancy B’s Bakery in West Homestead, home of the world-famous chocolate chip cookie that’s been delighting Pittsburghers for more than 40 years!

Thank you to AARP Pennsylvania Office Consumer Issues Task Force for joining us at our outreach event at the East McKeesport Senior Center! Through their educational bingo concept, we learned ways to avoid fraud and scams and had some fun too!

Fall is flying by, so I'm throwing back to my visit to Triple B Farms last year. There's a lot of fall fun to be had at this local farm - be sure to visit as they wrap up fall festivities this weekend!
"A law requiring advertisers to disclose when they are using AI has passed in Pennsylvania. State Sen Nick Pisciottano the Artificial Intelligence Deceptive Advertising Act. The bill states that when AI is being used in ads, it must be made clear to viewers and consumers."
Proud to work with Rep. Markosek to deliver $75,000 in state funding to Plum Borough! This investment will support the installation of an Opticom System on Golden Mile Highway, allowing emergency response vehicles to move through intersections more quickly, reducing response times.
Today is National First Responders Day! We honor all those who put their communities first to keep us safe. Thank you for your service!
The deadline to request a mail-in or absentee ballot for this fall's election is TODAY October 27th. Mail-in ballots must be received by the Allegheny County Elections Office no later than 8:00 PM on election day, whether returning to a drop off location or by mail.
We honor and remember the lives lost at Tree of Life in Squirrel Hill eight years ago today. May their memories be a blessing, and may we always work towards a safe and peaceful world for all.

It’s always a delight to welcome constituents to the Capitol! Last week, I was joined by students from the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, including my friend Rhoderick who visits every year. It's so fun to see kids enjoying their visit to Harrisburg.
High grocery prices are stretching budgets throughout our region and across Pennsylvania. I joined Sen. Lindsey Williams, Sen. Judy Schwank, and Feeding PA this week to talk about ways to bring prices down and protect consumers from exploitative pricing.
It's been a busy week in Harrisburg, with three bills that I sponsored ready to be signed into law by the Governor. The first will require AED access on utility worksites, protecting electrical lineworkers who face a high risk of cardiac arrest.
As co-chair of the animal protection caucus, I'm thrilled that the "Beagle Bill" passed the House and Senate this week and is ready to be signed into law by the Governor.
In Harrisburg this week, I joined members of our new Kids & Families Caucus to highlight the need to better support Pennsylvania families. I launched this caucus with co-chairs @pasenatorcappelletti.com, Rep. Aerion Abney, and @repomara.com, because strong families are essential to PA’s future.
The House just overwhelmingly passed my bill with Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver to modernize financial reporting requirements for nonprofit organizations which haven’t been updated since 2017. It passed the Senate unanimously earlier this year and now heads to the governor’s desk to be signed into law.
This Thursday, October 22nd, I am hosting a Senior Wellness & Safety Expo with Rep. Dan Goughnour at the McKeesport Palisades from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. I joined @paidleaveforall.bsky.social at their Pittsburgh stop on the Time and Money Tour to speak about how important paid family leave is. From caring for a new baby to dealing with a medical emergency, families shouldn't have to choose between taking the time we all need and paying the next bill.
