Yep. Seems a lot of people have a view, make a comment, an assertion, and feel they mustn’t be swayed regardless of the evidence in front of them, for fear of backtracking or being proven wrong. I know that he’s got a chequered injury history, but I’d also love it if he played 40+ games this season

Reading that he’s only got 1 year left on his contract. Considering full back is one of the areas we’ve massively struggled with over the years, it appears to be a huge oversight to have mishandled his contract like this.

Perspective’s a funny thing. If, (lol) United were in for him, my immediate reaction would be something along the lines of…caution, personality, big wages etc. Another club goes in for him and I’m convinced they’re winning every trophy under the sun! Can the football just start again please?

Been thinking about this. Easy to get swept up in transfer speculation and new signings. But if Mainoo’s going to be starting most games, with Bruno at 10, we’re going to have to get used to one, if not two new signings being on the bench to begin with. Nice to have options though with more games.

I’d assume YT and KM will job share? I’m also not sure how far into 5 years we’ll be looking to unload him again. A modern day Hargreaves would be perfection.
