I somehow still end up getting him to take me to his place (ex’s weekend w his kids or whatever) too wasted to be trusted as a little lady alone this late at night… falling asleep on his pillow and he spends around an hour just watching me and guiltly thinking through the list of things I’d said.

also I think feedback of any kind really makes you grow as an artist and writer. when people like your stuff it’s great and when they don’t like your stuff, it’s also great because you always can learn from this. the trick is to decide what to take to heart and what to simply let be
I wanna say that 99% of the people who read Queen’s Guard are incredibly kind and supportive!! I just find it very interesting to read some very specific opinions on stories like mine. It’s a good way to reflect on your own storytelling and sometimes, like in this case, make fun of dumb people
