Update on my Pokémon Crystal shiny hunt I finally after two years I think now got the shiny Celebi. I never expected it to take this long months of endless soft resetting but I caught them finally. Although I nearly gave myself a heart attack I almost soft reset it lol not fully paying attention.1/2

However that’s not the only games that I played through in the last month. I actually played 3 other games. I had been meaning to get too. I played through kid Icarus both the NES original and 3ds classics version and it’s sequel kid Icarus of myths and monsters and here’s my thoughts on each 1/?

As for what’s next that will be the DS version of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games which I have heard is very different than the WII version so I’m excited to see that.

Time for another small update on my sonic series play-through last time I posted I completed multiple versions of Sonic Sega Allstars racing transformed. However this time sonic went to the Olympic Games with Mario. I played through the Wii version this time and will detail my thoughts 1/2

Ok that Nintendo direct was amazing like a 10/10 to me at least, but I genuinely don’t get the hate Switch Sports Resort is getting. it looked good and the Sportmates look adorable again plus Mii’s are still playable I genuinely don’t get why people seem upset still like you can still use Mii’s. 1/2

Just watched the Mario Galaxy movie for the first time and wow just wow it’s honestly so good, like as a Nintendo fan that movie is great so many cool things to see but I can also see where critics are coming from with the pacing criticism. Overall it’s good and I think that’s all it needed to be.

Now for an overall review of the games themselves. Sonic Sega Allstars Racing Transformed it’s a brilliant racing game that holds up well compared to its competitors and it was well received and regarded and I can see why now having played it. Overall a great time no matter the version you play.

Sonic series play throughout update time this time 3 games except it’s 3 different versions of the same game specifically Sonic Sega Allstars Racing Transformed. I felt it was best that I play multiple different versions of the game and I decided on the 3 most different Vita, 3ds and PC. 1/4

Another Sonic series play through update I decided to play through the DS classic Sonic collection as an excuse to play the classic games again, plus it allows me to hear the original songs that were changed in Sonic origins version and overall it was actually pretty decent as a collection. 1/2

Ok so Sonic series play-through update I played Sonic Sega all-stars racing again but this time the DS version since like sega superstars tennis and it’s DS version it’s a completely different game from its console counterpart. I beat it in a single day and overall I like it slightly more. 1/2

Continuing my Sonic series playthrough I decided to finish the final Sonic Boom game Sonic Boom Fire and Ice and surprisingly it’s a huge improvement I mean like compared to shattered Crystal it’s way improved like it’s just a genuinely ok to goodish game in comparison to the other Boom games. 1/2

Still haven’t caught the shiny Celebi in crystal yet I’m starting to think shiny Pokémon are not real lol and are a made up conspiracy lol

So while playing Pokémon crystal on my 2ds XL I was watching YouTube videos and I came across one which made me think more then 1 3ds can transfer Pokémon to the same Pokémon home account and that made me want to replay the games on each of my 3 3ds consoles lol. 1/2

Ok some real talk i was getting fed up with how long the shiny hunt was taking so I decided to dedicate most of the day to it and I'm realizing very quickly soft resetting is really not fun to do for long periods of time at once like it feels like I'm grinding away time lol for no gain lol. 1/2

Every time the formerly bird app makes a Stupid decision, I keep coming back here more often and each time this place grows livelier as more people make the switch fully which is great. I hope it’s soon successful enough I never have to set foot in the other place again lol.

Like its like 2 lines of a graph one is my drawing skill slowly increasing and the other is my ability to spot errors and my ability to spot things that look off has gotten better way faster then my drawing skill has improved lol if that makes any sense so it ends up feeling worse LOL.

Drawing is hard LOL I love doing and I can see I am slowly getting better but man at the same time it also means I'm able to see things I am doing wrong or just now intrinsically know are off and because my skill hasn't caught up to fix those things I'm now seeing it kind of feels worse lol. 1/2

Update on Pokémon Crystal still no Shiny I have been shiny hunting on and off again for like 2 months I don’t know how people do this for hours on end shiny hunting drives me mad lol but I’m in to deep to this hunt to stop now lol it’s red Celebi or bust lol.

I completed the DS version of Sega Superstars Tennis and I will be real that version is impressive its like as close to 1 to 1 with the console version in core features but all on the DS which is really cool since there wasn't a Mario Tennis for the DS if I remember and so the DS having that is cool

So I decided to go a slight side tangent in my plan for the sonic series detour though non cannon spin-offs I played both the console version of superstars tennis and the pc version of all stars racing but I skipped the DS versions, which are quite different so I want to also play them lol.

LOL less than an hour after posting that I couldn’t find a copy of Sonic Hero’s guess who’s just found a copy of Sonic Hero’s. I guess I will get back to the main series sooner then I though. Although I’m still gonna finish all the spin-offs first lol.

Next in Sonic series detour through non-cannon spin-offs while I search for a copy of Sonic Hero’s I played and completed Sonic and Sega allstars racing tbh it’s a really good kart racer and a perfectly serviceable Mario kart alternative although Mario kart Wii is still the better kart racer 1/?

Also at the same time in my Sonic series detour though alt or non cannon spin-offs I completed Sonic Boom Shattered Crystal on the 3DS I decided to skip rise of lyric since the two games contradict each other anyways so I’m just gonna run with the 3ds version being cannon since it’s better lol. 1/2

Continuing my Sonic series marathon detour through non-cannon spin-offs I played and completed sega superstars tennis overall it was actually pretty fun for a tennis spin-off it took me like 4 days on on and off play to unlock everything but it was a good time at least.

I finally have finished everything in Sonic Adventure 2. The green hill level is a neat reward for 180 emblems. Although idk if its worth the time sink to unlock it unless ya really enjoy the Chao garden, which I do know there's a lot of people who do enjoy it but that took me two days on its own.

2/2 overall Sonic adventure 2 Is probably my favourite Sonic game of all the ones I have so far played or at least tied for first with Sonic Adventure 1 and mania it’s too hard to actually choose lol. Now I just have to eventually play through sonic hero’s and then the rest of the series after that.
