The electroacoustic piece I’m working on has been selected for IN-SONORA, Madrid 🙂 For the first time, I combine harmonic techniques from my acoustic works with those I use to generate computer sounds. Sounds from Xenakis’s stochastic synthesis are filtered into chordal sequences in just intonation

Just got the second edition of The #SuperCollider Book. Honored to have co-written a chapter with Daniel Mayer on stochastic and deterministic algorithms for non-standard synthesis and algorithmic composition—random walks, tendency masks, Xenakis’s dynamic synthesis, bytebeats, buffer manipulation.

I was offline during the holidays, and today I found out that in the past few days, Miguel A. García, Tom Johnson, and Eduardo Polonio passed away. All three were very special people and wholeheartedly devoted to music. I am deeply sorry that they are no longer with us.

I wanted to share some photos from X100 in Berlin, a festival held in 2022 to celebrate the centenary of Iannis Xenakis's birth. During three evenings, I was behind the mixing desk in charge of the sound diffusion of seven electroacoustic pieces by Iannis Xenakis as well as three of my own pieces.

The contemporary classical. They won’t even play Stravinsky. New York City had WQXR Q2 radio, which was a delightful contemporary scene.. Now for the last few years, I’ve been listening newly designed iOS app Radio France for contemporary music a secret nobody knows about it’s fantastic..
