Back in ATL next week for another round of #RenderATL! I’ll be into every session I can, but this year I’m also helping attendees level up their LinkedIn game with professional headshots at the torcdotdev booth. Fresh fade? Styled up? Let’s make it official 📸

On the latest episode of “Catching Up on Life with ‘Fire’ Jordyn Wallace”: - We talked about our current projects - Why life > job - And yes… a “Blooming Onion” vape flavor is officially in POC AI won’t deliver the jokes, reactions, or real conversations—so make humans count!

Want to wish a happy ⭐ Nurses Week ⭐ to all those amazing human beings that help patients, families, and loved ones go through some of the most difficult times of their lives. Keep rocking ladies and gentlemen 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

🚑 About to embark on another data journey. Ever wonder how hospitals track patient movement (i.e. registrations, admissions, transfers, discharge? I’m diving into how these events flow across systems to keep hospital logistics running. Data, literally on the move.

HNY! Proud to be a @torc.dev ambassador for another round! Last year pushed me to grow in ways I never expected — new connections, bold challenges, and lessons I’m carrying forward. Ready for another year of chaos, creativity, and whatever shenanigans the Yappybaras drag me into.

Choosing the right tool can be tricky. For example, to hang a painting, you need a screwdriver—not an impact driver. Always weigh scenarios, benefits, and use cases. I built an algorithm tool to help identify the best analytics solution for each situation.

A year ago, when I joined my analytics team I wondered, how are external tools utilized in healthcare? Interfaces (RESTful APIs), enable real-time communication. One of the most commonly used interfaces is HL7, which defines message formats for data exchange.

After a refreshing week offline with family and loved ones, I'm back and ready to innovate. This week, I'm working on developing a dynamic system for building dashboards and components.

Testing Nullish coallescing operator [??]. In short, if the left-side expression is null or undefined, it will return the right-side expression. Since we have no room number assigned, it will return the "Room not assigned" message.

Testing controller code for submitting transport requests. Image is optional, but name, date of birth, and locations are required to ensure the correct patient logistics. So far, it's working! Can't wait to break the app again and figure out the new errors.

Starting to like TypeScript more each day. Testing hospital logistics by calculating occupancy. Best way to learn a new concept? Write code: bed definitions are clear, but understanding the difference in physical/licensed/staffed beds is the tricky part.

This past week was busy! I completed my Clinical Data Models class, tested some builds in WebStorm, and learned a bunch of neat features on coding with AI agents (GitHub Copilot, Junie, and RooCode). Time to touch grass!

Big week ahead! I'll be taking my next class, Clinical Data Models. This course will help me get more exposure to core tables and clinical concepts, while still combining Caboodle and Clarity data points. Excited to enhance my skills to the next level! #ClinicalData
