"People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates." –Thomas Szasz Egyptian Hooded Crow + American Magpie. He/Him. Mostly #SecondLife & some personal reflection.

I miss when YouTube had a dislike button. Maybe to mitigate trolls, they could have added some system to know that the viewer watched 90% of the video before they could leave a like or dislike? I dunno. 🤷

3. if LLMs are going to transform science and life in general, the fact that a small number of massive companies— propped up by government funds—are able to conceal how these systems work from everybody except their internal teams should be an outrage.

2. That highlights the following observation: If LLMs are even a tenth is important of a technology as the US government keeps telling us when diverting basic science research to this sector, it is absolutely bonkers that there is no frontier model available for independent scientists to study.

Takin' a break from cleaning. It's not gonna be as hot as today as it will be for the rest of the week, but I'm already feeling the heat. 🥵

I'm still not over how matter-of-factly they said to me, "I KNOW you fuck around on your alt." I'm well aware that non-friends would jump to the conclusion that my alt is for shady purposes but IDGAF what NON-FRIENDS think. To hear it from someone whom I thought was my FRIEND really fucking hurt.

How the fuck do you find yourself with such a broad & rich intersection of accomplished professionals, see them all recognize falsehood from their positions of knowledge & experience, and then double down on all of them just being ignorant to the alchemy of bleach & ammonia your team is concocting?

I haven't taken my Stylo out for a #GridDrive in a while. Cruising through Bellisseria is so relaxing even if we did kick up a little mud on our way to Copperfield Heights to check out the new LL homes. The bike ride tour was so chill too. I'll be saving this NavHUD for future joyrides. #SecondLife

I despise clothes in #SecondLife that have linked light sources that you cannot remove or turn off at all. I hope creators that do this realize that there's a client-side setting to turn off the rendering of attached lights completely. 🥱
