One of the things I learn again and again being an artist in creative spaces is that it isn't about who has the best *ideas* or *ability*, it's all about who actually is able to pull through and make the thing. Even if someone else *could* make it better. Even if someone else had the *idea* first. 🧵

I am tired of this crap infecting everything. I've been on Twitch for 10 years and have seen a slow mutation of the Bleed Purple mentality turn into Bleed Creators Dry. Here is the UserVoice opposing this if you'd like to tell Twitch where to stick their AI: twitch.uservoice.com/forums/92338...

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

In Part Two we followed the evolution of premoulded dragons, and examined the Legacy of Galidor in LEGO Creature design. Today, we are taking a look at the development of brick-built dragons, and the years where LEGO Bricks began to extend beyond the standard rectangular brick.
