Ive noticed in fandom spaces folks also assume everyone has the mostly online life that they have. Not saying being online a lot is bad but other adults can have full time jobs, kids, irl community etc that make them less available
Maybe this is my hot take, but I think sometimes people label these 'friendship' because many people (in fandom spaces especially) are way too quick to dismiss these kinds of casual acquaintanceships. Theres this sort of attitude where you're either friends or nothing.
