My favourite "you're old" jumpscare to do to people is telling them that the memetic "pablo.gonzales.2007" TF2 player who's a kid who just installed the game and doesn't know what the weapons do or how to turn and press keys at the same time is now an adult getting into the workforce.

Honestly the worst part of the new #pathfinder2e AoN controversy is that I gotta wait some time before Mark Moreland inevitably digs himself even deeper somehow, why can't the good sequels come out immediately, smh. 😤
I got my YIIKrylics! 🥳 As a funny aside, this is the second physical game... thing, that I bought. The first was actually the Deviation Perspective book. So yeah, YIIK has the privilege of being the only game I bought trinkets and baubles for.
Guuuuuh, my YIIKrylics have been in the country for a week at this point, but the post office is holding 'em up because of tariffs. 😩 I've already sent in the relevant docs to them, I'm literally just waiting on them to actually process them. Or something. There's zero feedback on what's happening.

I've been doing some tinkering on some units for a PAYDAY 2 mod. I do my code changes, go into the game, spawn in the unit, as normal. It appears in an A-pose, announces "they won't know what hit 'em", and then my game crashes. I... I guess I truly did not know what hit me.
Getting into PAYDAY 2 modding has resulted in some of the most accidentally funniest bug reports I've gotten so far. "My friend who doesn't have your mod installed is crashing when joining me / doesn't get the team benefits." Well. Have them install it.

Honestly, the Cyrille sections of YIIK were the one part of the game where I'd say it wasted a perfectly good plot. I appreciate they exist in the game, of course! But damn, if they weren't a fucking vibe.
Finished YIIK. I don't always pick a GOTY for each year, but this game might just be it for me for 2025. Holy shit, I'm absolutely floored. This game is genuinely art. Had me sitting in my chair, leaning back and looking up at the ceiling, going "...wow" when I finished it.
