I've got to stop being autistic. It's more trouble than it's worth, I tell you, but I just can't bring myself to put it down. Some might say it's an addiction; I say it's a way of being. Can't get enough of that go-go juice.

Used my gas oven for the first time today, and despite my concerns, it didn't blow up in my face! I guess that maybe makes up for crushing and pinching my finger between a 50-pound tote and a hard place. 🥲 All because I decided to not be lazy and unpack some more today... 😭

Most of the furniture is accounted for. Playing around with layouts, and still got a bit of unpacking to do, mostly decorations, the main thing is still no Internet. Installation is scheduled for Tuesday! I can't wait to rejoin the 21st century! It's like living in the 90s all over again! 🤣

Sleeping in my new apartment for the first night! Still tons of unpacking to do and furniture to get, but I'm almost there! I also need to get Internet soon! 😅

So, is active listening dead? It seems to be, based on what I see these days. Everyone is always doing something else with something in their hands, distracting themselves while "listening." Just hearing my words doesn't mean you are listening. Listening is active, not passive.

Lost 43.8 pounds over the past year. Of that, 35.8 pounds was body fat, 6 pounds was body water, and 2 pounds was skeletal muscle. It was roughly a 500-calorie deficit. Dieting isn't hard; it just isn't fun. It's just basic math, consistency, and strict discipline.

I have officially gotten the finances settled. A week of crunching numbers and many headaches later, I have made it possible via what can only be described as a complete metamorphosis of my finances. Going to pay the rent, deposit, utilities, etc... next week. Then the dreaded moving... *shudders*

Might finally get to move out of my parents place next month after having to move back in a few years ago. Not one to count my chickens before they hatch, but I'm cautiously hopeful.

Been trying to reach an old friend for over a month, but they have an agency now. It's ironic because I'm the one who recommended an agency once and now it's being used against me. At this point, I have a better chance of reaching them by sending a message in a bottle or shouting into the wind...

"Adjusted for inflation" is one of the most annoying phrases today. People use it to justify prices, ignoring that wages haven't kept up with inflation despite rising costs. Stop talking about inflation and start talking about purchasing power. The actual important metric.

Sam Altman, the CEO of the AI company that started all this crap, literally has the last name Altman. Alternative Man. Alternative Man is pushing AI, and the irony of the company being called OpenAI despite being closed source. Can't make this stuff up. The jokes write themselves.

Diced onions, diced tomatoes, diced peppers, mushrooms, and olives. It's a texture thing. Things like that are like eating worms or bugs to me. That little bit of resistance on the outside then *gush*. I have force-fed myself those for years and still cannot get used to how they feel in my mouth.

What’s the most widely enjoyed food that you can’t stand, not because of allergies or anything but just because you hate it?

I swear the United States Marine Band keeps playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Theme song at the UFC Freedom 250 Event lmao Whatever orchestra they keep playing sounds very close to it lol

Xbox said that RAM and Storage prices will increase by over 500% for the holiday season in 2027. Versus 200% earlier this year, and 400% since that. That $400 RAM I had to buy isn't sounding as bad knowing in a year it'll be like $600... (he says while crying knowing a year ago it was like $110).
