The Things You Do For Love

A set of discord message from me explaining my cursor situation. The transcript starts here:
So I don’t know how many people I’ve told this, but for those who are not in the know: Mac doesn’t have innate custom cursors, there are apps you have to find.
And I got it set up, but the issue I would have consistently is, like… the custom cursor would show up, say, if I was on my desktop or top/bottom help bar.
But I’d be on a different window like, say, Discord or Firefox, and it’d stop displaying the custom cursor and go back to the system default.
And tonight of all nights, it pissed me off, so I decided to look for a workaround, since the common workaround of “reset your cursor settings” did not work for me.
And I even tried a different app, to no avail, but you know what finally got this to stop being an issue?
Making my cursor big.
I don’t. Know why.

On the screen, you can see my custom Jungle Pocket cursor by pixloen. She is indeed larger than average. She’s the height of two lines of text?

Picture of my settings for this larger than average Jungle Pocket cursor. Cursor sizes on MacOS work on a scale with 7 marked points, though cursors can be any size in between those seven points, and she only works as intended at a 3/7.
