GUESS THE NAME OF THAT RAT - Part 8! It was hard to figure out how to photograph this girl and her namesake, but once I figured it out she enjoyed sipping some between posing for shots! As before please let me know which shot is your favorite, and which should be part of our upcoming food calendar!

Look at these EVIL dwarfies! Man Milk and Cheerio are really making me rethink my rat proofing skills lol - these 2 little butts are SUPER adventurous and willing to get into ALL the places - so my rat proofing skills are really being tested!
Here was Shadow doing her "rob a purse" trick! This one will always be one of my favorites, and was one of the tricks that really taught me what amazing learners rats are! . I have a rat training book available here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
The rats latest cage setup! It will actually be changing a bit soon because I'm replacing all the wooden ledges with much easier to clean and mount 3d printed ledges from @11Eleven3DPrinting (Here is their page: www.facebook.com/profile.php?... ). Very excited for no more wooden ledges!
Shrimp modeling her namesake with her curled up sleeping position 🥺 Unlike Pinto, Shrimp prefers to sleep under the blanket (vs out in the open) - but she is still a super confident and sweet rat who loves to play, try and drag my hands (or wiffle balls!) around, and snuggle!
GUESS THE NAME OF THAT RAT - Part 7! This girl is a beautiful chocolate color and so sweet and hoppy, and she quite enjoyed a bit of nibbles from her delicious cookie namesake! Let me know which shot is the best and which should be featured in the upcoming ratty food calendar!
Here as Butter doing her weaves + fetch trick! This was one of her first attempts at combining the 2, and its always neat to compare initial attempts vs later on ones and see how much the rat improves! . I have a rat training book here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
Ever see a rat stealthily sneak up and steal a treat? Here Feta was being a very sneaky turd and she snuck up on poor old lady Cracker and stole her green bean! She didn't even want to eat it, she just stashed it and immediately came back for more! What a little sneaky rat she is!
GUESS THE NAME OF THAT RAT - Round 6! This girl has one ofd the softest coats and most adorable faces that I've seen, and she very much enjoyed sipping some of her namesake! As always I'd love to know which photo is your favorite and which should feature on this years rat food calendar!
Repeat after me: "I am not obsessed with the tiniest Pinto Bean. Her smol nose and giant ears are not the cutest things ever. She does not give me intense cuteness agression with her smol sniffs and cuddly sweetness...ohh who am I kidding, I am obsessed with this girl and she is absolutely PERFECT!"
Coffee and Cracker paying vs basketball! Ratsketball is always so much fun, and one of these 2 girls favorite tricks! . I have a rat training book available here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
This week’s paw paintings by my sweet rats Carrot and Cracker - they and all their buddies did an amazing job! . If you would like to commission your own rat paw painting, you can do so here: ratpaintings.etsy.com
Bad angle but look how cute Pinto is! She likes to nap al over me, often sweetly curled into a ball 🥺 Like any young rat she also has her moments of activity, bouncing around and play-fighting the other girls - but after she gets her beans out she becomes soooo snuggly!
GUESS THE NAME OF THAT RAT - Part 5! This sweet girl is SUPER photogenic and did a great job of posing with (and nibbling!) her food namesake! As before I'd like to know which shot you like best, and which should feature on this years ratty food calendar!
Here was Coconut doing some fun agility! Like most of my girls, Coconut absolutely LOVED agility and really excelled at it - go Coconut! . I have a rat training book available here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
GUESS THE NAME OF THAT RAT - Round 4! This girl didn't quite get photo time with her namesake, because I don't like seafood and din't want to waste something fresh lol. But I think you can still guess her name from these shots!
Here Bean was combining pushing a shopping cart with fetching from a drawer! As you can tell Bean was a very self-sufficient little rat! . I have a rat training book available here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
GUESS THE NAME OF THAT RAT - Part 3! This girl was really enjoying her food namesake and ended up with quite a few licky shots lol. As before I'm curious which photo you think is the best, and which should feature in this years food rat calendar!
Look how sweet and smooshy little Pinto Bean is 🥺 She's such a cuddly girl that she will even ignore cheerios during snuggle time - she is just such a perfect little cuddle bean and I love her so much ❤️ (Also wanted to say this is very normal for her, she's just that chill!)
Sugar doing her fetch from a mini fridge trick! Sugar really struggled with fetch at first (she was one of my ultra-skittish girls)...but once she got it down it became one of her favorites! . I have a rat training book here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... . amzn.to/484u2Mv
Here was Peaches doing her flyball trick! Peaches was a shy girl who typically shied away from interacting with people, but she enjoyed training time and that was a big way I bonded with her. . I have a rat training book here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
GUESS THE NAME OF THAT RAT - Round 2! This tiny bean is one of the cutest little scrungles I've ever seen, and I am 100% obsessed with her adorable face and sweet personality! Which of these photos do you think I should feature on this years rat food calendar?
Cracker is working on scent work! . I have a rat training book available here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
Its time to play GUESS THAT FOOD RAT! Anyone want to take a crack at this girls name (there a few subtle hints in these photos - look closely! 😉😆) Also I will be adding one of these photos to this years food rat calendar - let me know which one you like best!
Baby cuddle puddle...but wait, there is an imposter in our midst! Carrot has joined the baby cuddle puddle and is now a fully converted baby bean supporter - a complete 180 from her this time last year, when she HATED my then new babies Feta and Chickpea!
Cheese doing her first agility course without a lure! This girl absolutely loves agility and I can already tell she is going to be one of my best agility girls! Next up, adding more obstacles! . I have a rat training book here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
This week’s paw paintings by my sweet rats Crumb and Chickpea - they and all their buddies did an incredible job! . If you would like to commission your own rat paw painting, you can do so here: ratpaintings.etsy.com
Starting to work on agility with little Cheerio! She did really well and our next steps are to work individual obstacles, fade the lure, and then back-chain a course together. Go Cheerio! . I have a rat training book here! www.etsy.com/listing/1605... amzn.to/484u2Mv
The current werewolf trio 😍 Anyone notice anything about Shrimp in particular that Feta seems to lack? Perhaps a bit of a nose point? (Feta refuses to bow down to the norm and grow a nose point - she says butt points are all the rage, but nose points are old news 😛)
So a few days back Creme Brulee managed to open my cheerio vending machine, and that apparently became a core memory because she now seeks it out each playtime to raid it for more cheerios! This girl is a menace I tell you, a MENACE! 😂
