SoEx Spotlight: Sammie Chomsky is a PhD student in US History at the CUNY Graduate Center. She is researching GROW (Grass Roots Organizing Work), a project aimed at organizing poor and working-class white people into interracial coalitions in the Deep South in the 1960s.
