Men in Nursing are expected to 'Man up' resulting in us not talking about our mental health. We need more awareness & promotion for men's health & wellbeing. There is health promotion & support for women, but none for men. This needs to change. #RCN2025 #RCN25

An interesting debate. I spent a year working as part of my Trust Onboarding Team doing OSCE training. Most of the IENs I worked with were very proud of the title IEN as it showed where they had come from. But, should they be just referred to as 'Nurse'?

A really interesting discussion. But we are talking about Nurse leaders who are no longer doing clinical work. As a lecturer I don't get the opportunity to do clinical shifts. It feels like I am being told I am less of a Nurse because I am unable to do clinical shifts. #RCN25

@rcn.org.uk My branch has been told that any WhatsApp group we have that is RCN related/contains members now needs a member of RCN coms to be added to it. Can you give me a rational/reason for this? Our groups are private and for members to organize & discuss. They are not official RCN groups.

@rcn.org.uk Why has funding for RCN non-voting members been so drastically cut? £500-£150. This is barley enough to cover train ticket & 1 nights accommodation. I know members who wanted to attend multiple days but won't commit as it will cost to much. You drop a day to save money, then cut funding.
