Congrats Ash, you can achieve what most children can. But I persevere because I really want to bring my brain imagery to life. For a few of my game plans, cute girls are featured and need to be illustrated, but I can also translate these fundamentals to more art? This here is much better already

Inked pencil sketch of a bard playing a lute, the bards ears are long but not pointy, it is uncertain whether they are a halfling. They strum a three string instrument that may be a lute. They wear a tunic and cape, and laced boots up to their knees. Their bangs are pretty chopped, long hair in back teases "mullet"

Ok, now we've lost routine already. Months pass. I save pictures but struggle to find the desire. Then, I find Naomi Lord's book Cute Fantasy Art Class and really like the cute characters therein (she didn't lie)!. My journey picks back up, but now I'm drawing step by step, stick and blocks first

Pencil sketch, inked, of an adventurer. Short, possibly female, hair messy in front and toed into a mid ponytail, a bit on the CalArts style side. She brandished a sword (really more a dagger) with wide eyes and a big smile. She wears a typical adventuring tunic, cape, pants and lace up boots. She is simple in style and in mind. There is not a single brain cell anywhere in her body
