Shareshot is 2 years old today! Thanks to everybody who has supported us. Version 1.4 shipped back in September including UI improvements, support for Liquid Glass and the new devices that shipped in Fall 2025. Six maintenance releases followed including the Spring 2026 devices.

We've found that Shareshot for macOS does not work correctly on macOS 27 Beta 1. It fails to start correctly. So if you're experiencing trouble, use the iPhone or iPad version or go back to your other Mac running the non-Beta macOS (you totally still have that, right?) In terms of a fix… 👇

I think most people don’t realise Shareshot supports adding your own frames for any image size. No need to make a mask! You can add the latest Apple frames (if somehow we haven’t updated it), Android frames or whatever you like. Drop a frame image into the app and go! (⚠️ use v1.4.6) Full how-to 👇
