Russia used cluster munitions against densely populated areas of Kyiv. The pattern of these attacks points to an effort to destroy not only lives, but also Ukrainian culture, identity, and the ability of Ukrainians to live freely in their own country.

I recently caught up with my friend Ievgeniy Mallik after his exchange, more than two years after mine. We spoke about Mariupol, captivity, Russian propaganda narratives, and what we both learned from the whole experience. ukrainemilitaryhistory.org/episode-12/

Russian forces deliberately targeted an unarmed civilian fruit vendor in Kherson. There was no military objective, no, battlefield necessity, just another civilian trying to earn a living, deliberately hunted and attacked. 🇺🇦

HasTrump has changed his view on the War? Living in Ukraine, many of us are struggling to identify anything tangible that remotely justifies that conclusion, especially as the situation continues to worsen. My latest piece for LLB 🇺🇦👇 londonlovesbusiness.com/ukraines-air...

💥 Another jet-powered drone has just struck the city of Dnipro this morning. We’ve endured drone attacks throughout the night, with multiple explosions reported across the city. It has been another long and dangerous night for residents as Russia’s aerial campaign continues. 🇺🇦

👇 My latest piece for LLB. 🇺🇦 It’s about military reform and public trust, but the danger now is allowing legitimate demands for change, to become a personalised political confrontation, creating a problem that could largely have been avoided. londonlovesbusiness.com/ukraines-pro...

Here is my article explaining some of the roots of the demonstrations in Kyiv. Much of the discussion has focused on personalities, but the protests run deeper. They reflect concerns over military reform, transparency, decision-making, and Ukraine’s direction as the war continues. 🇺🇦

Russia launched 35 missiles, including 27 ballistic missiles, and 185 attack drones against Ukraine overnight, with Kyiv the primary target. Once again, residential areas bore the brunt of the attack. 🇺🇦

Huge rally in Kyiv today in support of Mykhailo Fedorov. As I’ve been saying from the start, reform isn’t just a political talking point in Ukraine, it’s something people are prepared to take to the streets for.

No, this isn’t the surface of Mars or the Moon. This crater was left by a Russian cruise missile that flew approximately 100 km into Poland during last night’s mass attack on Ukraine. It struck near the villages of Tarnawa-Kolonia and Tokary in Poland’s Lublin Voivodeship. 🇺🇦🇵🇱

Remember, we’re still waiting for the 1,000-for-1,000 prisoner exchange that President Trump publicly attached his name to, an exchange that never happened. As part of that, Putin got his Victory Day celebrations. So forgive me if I don’t get my hopes up.

If you stand against the Kremlin, none of it matters, your background, your religion, your nationality, or your politics. In the eyes of Russian state propaganda, you automatically become a “Nazi.” Or, in my case, a “Nazi,” a mercenary, and a terrorist. open.substack.com/pub/shaunpin...

Russia isn’t preparing for peace. It’s preparing for the next phase of war. There is, quite simply, no end in sight. 🇺🇦 open.substack.com/pub/shaunpin...

While you were sleeping, 🇺🇦 democracy drones paid a visit to the “Hydrostatconstruction” plant in Chekhov, just outside Moscow. Thick smoke was seen rising from the facility following the strike.

It’s a strange but incredibly dangerous moment in this war. Neither side believes its objectives are beyond military reach. Ukraine tightening the noose around Crimea, while Russia believes attrition can deliver victory, at enormous human and economic cost. 🇺🇦 londonlovesbusiness.com/world-losing...
