I stumbled upon a true info hazard. A youtube channel that explains how insomnia actually works. Now I really can’t sleep anymore. I want to go back to ignorance so I can at least sleep half nights again 😓

I'm releasing my synth next month, so I'm working on a preset demo video, but it's a constant battle with Davinci Resolve. I just refuse to pay for Adobe After Effects though, even if it's probably more suited for this task. I feel it still looks a bit static. Needs a waveform or something. 🤔

I might have underestimated how much time it takes to create a sample library to ship with the plugin. Got to stop thinking about it though, and just slowly grind every single day until it's done. It can't be worse than implementing the 44 effects, which is already in the past.

I’ve been sick all week. Kind of sucks, but the upside is being forced to take it easy for a while. I’m not very good at pacing myself once I’m on a roll.

There doesn’t really seem to be a reverb plugin with a “Non Linear” mode that’s really tweakable (duration, envelope, echo density, diffusion, stereo width, filters). Unless I’m missing one? Might be my next project if my search really turns up empty.

Shout out to the heroes who still release full albums in the days of streaming. I love to pick an album, find a quiet place to lie down, and then listen to it from beginning to end like it was intended, with my full attention. I hope albums will always remain a thing.

Labels trying to clear a sample literal days before release, and then releasing without clearance anyway if the deal cannot be finalized in time. 🤭 Is this standard procedure for the music industry?
