My leader has been using Gemini to read his emails, create task lists, due dates, and assignments. Yesterday, he realized that we have a C Suite level presentation TODAY. The automation he was relying on had not even acknowledged the email(s) about it. I'll cry happy tears when it's gone away.

There's a local events group that often reminds its following that they are founded for/by Queer people of color and that their events only welcome allies as guests of POCs... yet, in my experience, their events have more allies present than events that never "state" their intended audience.

They keep advertising this play to me that is supposedly written about "the Black church." The playwright is a Black woman... but her social media makes it clear that she didn't find that out until she was an adult... and as a PK who grew up in the Black church, I really don't wanna be pissed off.

The C-Suite is more likely to create punitive processes for employees that do not embrace AI tools than they are to cancel their contracts with AI vendors who sold them tools that have not proven effective in increasing productivity or revenue as promised.
