New to being human, yet still winning me over with his refined tastes 🐲💕 mini portrait series continued #fieldsofmistria #portrait #caldarus #dragon #dragonboy #bachelor #art #pixelart #aseprite #pixels #portraitart #sushi #farmingrpg #fanart #fom

A 64x64 pixel art portrait of a fictional character from the indie RPG farming game, Fields of Mistria. Caldarus, the dragon statue turned human (no spoilers) is holding a bento box filled with sushi in one hand, and chopsticks with a piece of nigiri in the other. He's blushing slightly, seen in his spring outfit and his teal hair softly moving the breeze around him. He appears to be in the Deep Forest, as you can get a glimpse of the lake with lilypads atop its surface behind him.

A redeemed reward doodle meets an extended commission, & it has been one of my absolute favourite things to work on as of late. DnD lore, canon, campaign moments, they have all been such a pleasure to create 💖💖💖 | #digitalart #illustration #dnd #dndcharacters #orc #tiefling #commission |

A digital portrait drawing of 2 characters, Zae the half-orc burly man and a dainty yet feisty tiefling woman named Thalira, who has been thrown over his shoulder. He appears to be interrupting a moment of rage for Thal, a look on her face saying she was caught off guard as she clings to his wide shoulders, brow furled and soft purple lips slightly agape. They're meeting eyes with him having an uplifted look of amusement, his mouth curled into a slight smile with thick yet small tusks hugging his full upper lip. His light green skin is speckled with freckles, his long ruby hair with sun-yellow streaks tied at the end below his shoulders. His side-swept bangs frame his amber eyes, showing pointy orc ears. He's holding on to her legs, her pink tiefling tail showing from under her robe. Thalira has a fishnet suit covering what shows from under long brown boots and shoulder-length gloves, adorned with gold bands at their ends. Her short pointy ears are pierced with golden adornments, and her horns have amethyst-crested bases. One of her horns has marble-like texture, and the other is plain but with a triple-band made of gold.

A work-in-progress sketch of the previously described drawing, the characters are drawn without colour or shading at this phase.

a digital portrait drawing of a princess, with tanned skin and bubblegum pink hair in a long ponytail. Her white regal collar is high around her neck, a golden crown adorned with blue gems on her head. Her deep blue eyes match the gems, and her soft pink lips match her hair. Her white dress has poofy sleeves and a v-cut with gold trim, the background is a warm yellow with glitter and stars around her.

A digital portrait drawing of a sad troubled man in a dusty blue cloak and high collared shirt, with bushy eyebrows and circle beard, his hair long and a soft ginger colour. His sunken blue eyes tell a story of trauma and burdens carried.

A digital portrait sketch with monotone colouring and basic shading, a character from Final Fantasy portrayed in the cardgame Magic: The Gathering. Her short hair is strewn about she's holding a magical staff to the side of her obscuring some of her face, and she looks at the viewer with heterochromatic eyes light blue and green (symbolizing her tribal alignment to Bant).

a digital portrait drawing of a vtuber that goes by the name susuine, a cute character based off the jerboa. Her rodent ears are adorably large, one of them pierced with a chunky piece of jewelry. She's winking at the viewer behind her large oval glasses, her eyes an electric teal. She's wearing a strapless light-coloured top, with a coat with fur trim falling off one shoulder, and a choker with a large pendant in the center. Her hair is an upturned wolf cut, framing her face with medium length strands and having the bottom longer than the top softly draping over her clavicle. These ends of her hair are coloured a similar vibrant teal

hands are main characters! I know some artists say they hate drawing hands, but I firmly say the opposite. I've pushed myself to get them right because they are one of the most expressive parts of the pose, and I love it. | #art #illustration #artist |

My first convention! I learned a lot, sold a few things, and met some amazing people 💜🩷🩵 Can't wait for the next one #artist #illustrator #vendorbooth #vendor #digitalart #painting #traditionalart #expo #convention

A photo of a vendor booth, consisting of a wooden stand of boards on either side and a sign at the top. It's handpainted purple, with giant stars and shells and pearls around the cursive name "Shelze" in the middle of a cloudscape, with "Illustrated" in smaller letters below it. The stand has many mermaid prints hanging on display with some traditional paintings on the front of the table. Signage can be seen displaying prices, a twitch channel, an OC introduction, and commission information. There's a clothesline along the top of the booth, with small polaroids pinned to it.

A wooden sign shaped like clouds along the top edge, painted with deep purples and warm light violets as the gradient. The title "Shelze" is centered in large cursive surrounded by violet clouds, and light pink-purple stars, seashells, and a string of pearls with some loose pearls here and there. It's resting atop a large table scattered with the materials and tools used to paint the sign.

A photo collage of 4 images separated neatly with a white border. The images are of a wooden sign shaped like clouds along the top edge, being painted with deep purples and warm light violets as the gradient. The title "Shelze" is centered in large cursive, with one of the photos showing that a paper stencil was used to help apply it. There's a close-up shot of a paintbrush loaded with paint, resting atop a mixed pink in the palette board. There are bottles of paint, inch-wide paintbrushes, and other various art tools strewn over the large table covered with large sheets of white messy paper.

updating one of the visual guides for my #commission form and I can't stop loving this one. Complex design sample for unnammed alien babe in my colourway, as a mage (my premium commissions are now open!) forms.gle/CfrnyVLY6Cxg... | #digitalart #drawing #fantasyart #space #alien #aliengirl |

A digital illustration of an alien character with short pointy ears and only 4 fingers on each hand, dressed as a mage. She has light pastel blue skin with white freckles, her 3 eyes are all separately coloured pink, blue, and purple. Her full lips are pastel pink, and her hair is a shade darker. Her hair is intricately tied into 2 half buns and two large braids in the back, plus 2 braids from her front hairpiece reaching about bust length. Her braids are held together with nostalgic 90's twin-bead blue hairties Her off-the-shoulder robe is a deep V-cut coming down to the diaphragm with long sleeves, a slit along the side length showing up to just above the upper thigh. Peeking through are black undergarments. Her knee-high leather boots have small black chains and jewelry hanging around the ankles. Her belt has similar jewelry, as well as a blue beaded belt. She has many necklaces on of small black chains and beads, as well as a bell choker. She's holding a magical wooden staff adorned with blue orb beads with a large blue magical orb being held in place at the top, with a spellbook levitating beside her. At eye level hovers her tri-eyed cat companion, a dusty lavender colour with white-tipped appendages. Draped behind her is a semi-transparent glittering pink cape, attached at the shoulders. She's wearing a thin triangular-shape pair of glasses, only for 2 eyes (the 3rd has perfect vision).

closing out mermay with turning my original character Vexia into an aquatic creature 🩵💙💜🧡 | #digitalart #art #mermay #mermaid #alien #oc #characterdesign #fantasyart #creature |

A digital illustration of an alien-like mermaid, with 3 lightning blue eyes, blue lips, antenna with fins attached like a crown, long translucent earfins, and light teal skin. She's seen floating below a tumultuous ocean, the waves rolling high. Her body faces away as she's turning towards the viewer, treading water with her webbed hands with long claws tipped with orange. She has short hair that transitions in colour from the light blue ends to purple roots. Her mermaid tail is also this gradient, starting with purple at the waist and ending in light blue/teal with a large translucent tailfin touched with orange along the edges. She has two translucent fins along both sides of her tail. Bubbles swirl around her, as you can see nothing but ocean depth below.

A pixellated drawing of a voluptuously thick mermaid in turquoise colours, a sparkly green tail and semi-transparent tailfin, long flowing burgundy hair. Her ears have peach-coloured transparent fins. She's wearing a strapless wrap with a clasp at the front in dark teal, and a black string necklace wrapped a few times floating loosely around her neck. Her arms are folded above her head in a stretch with a fond look on her face, a silver starfish hairclip on one side of her head.

I've been absolutely swamped this month, but I was able to sneak in a lil piece in my tiniest sketchbook adding WIPs because it's neat to see the transformation | #traditionalart #acrylic #acrylicpaint #painting #art #mermay #mermaid #koifish #merm #poscamarkers |

A traditional illustration done with Posca acrylic paint markers in a 4x6 sketchbook over the spread of 2-pages vertically. The painting is of a mermaid with koi fish colours of a thick orange and white tail with a heartshaped tailfin, large orange-fin ears semi-transparent on the edges, coconut bra with criss-cross straps, very long blonde hair, the mermaid is a meter below the green waters surface, sun shining through the barrier. She is surrounded by seaweed, looking up at the sunbeams.

Work in progress #1, with only colour blocks and one coat of paint

Work in progress #2, with all base colours added and some linework started

Work in progress #3, with most of the mermaid fully rendered save for some shading, and the background is starting to be blocked in with colour

I've drawn more mermaids than I've drawn anything else in my whole life, so it pains me to say I don't have a lot of time this month to make new merms.. However, I'm fixing up old ones for prints 🧜‍♀️🐠🦈🐙 | #mermay #mermaid #digitalart #illustration #art |

A relaxing mermaid, her eyes closed while smiling, floating in gentle current above a bed of soft wavy sand. Her long mint green hair is looking just like a pillow she's laying on as it suspends in the water hugging her. She's wearing a thin bikini top, thick straps that tie to a small golden ring at the base of her throat, and wraps over the breasts in a downwards V shape. Her arms are stretched up in a gentle sprawl, one tucked behind her and the other loosely above her head. Her golden yellow tail is gently tucked up and folded downward. The sunlight bathes the merm, illuminating her and the sand around her and has her casting a large shadow.
