I’m so sorry about it, but I no longer support any Patreon accounts. They were all sled dog accounts who have gone silent. It makes me sad. I miss them all so much and wish them well ❤️

This Roman ring, wishing good life to Senicianus, was found in Silchester. It’s now on display in The Vyne. Its fame derives from the archaeologist Mortimer Wheeler consulting Tolkien on it in the ‘20s. Tolkien was inspired by the idea of a lost cursed ring & the rest is literary history. 🕰️C4thAD

This is just one example of why I refuse to get a Medicare “Advantage” plan. They all do this. And the current administration is trying to force us all into these plans, which are so far from what we were promised our whole lives. Shame on you for abandoning us

It’s hard to differentiate “Democratic Socialists” from “Social Democrats”when they are perceived differently in different regions. I can identify with both in many ways, but in the US there isn’t a clear understanding of either. The term is the enemy

Early voting started in #Wisconsin today, and it’s time for me to make a decision on my primary vote for Governor. This decision is HARD. Do I pick a candidate who best represents my personal values, or do I pick a candidate who might be able to pull in more undecided votes to beat Tiffany? 😫

(c) constance lee menefee The universal cat arched. curved, then stretched - scratching - folded four paws precisely, flicks a look at me, past me, in a sweet courtyard faintly reeking of the empire. A chill on my neck, tripped by ghost fingertips who brush invisible along walls pockmarked by bullet holes... someone speaks, off to the side, "Let bygones be bygones," and perhaps means it. Cream and yellow-faced egret treads long, deliberate toes around fragrant cream and yellow-faced plumeria blossoms, waxy cast-offs from a courtyard tree.
