Having watched some true crime TV, I think the best way to prevent yourself from ever getting murdered is to do the following: Never 'light up rooms' when you enter. Never give the impression that you'd give anyone the shirt off your back. All murder victims seem to have fulfilled these conditions.
These ones don't sting. These ones do. They both give me the collywobbles.

5 years ago we had a young woodpecker fly into our window. We thought it would die, but after about 6 weeks of R&R it was finally fit enough to fly off. (Our guest bedroom has been known as 'The Woodpecker Suite" ever since!). This pic taken yesterday - hopefully descended from 'our' rescued bird.
6 a.m. this morning, while we were out dog walking, some deer took their chance to sneak in and investigate, setting off the Ring camera.

Class 158 DMU Sprinter 158719 Kyle of Lochalsh to Inverness arrived bang on time at Strathcarron at 06:33 this morning. Like you care. It's a train thing. But anyway... here's a pic. It wasn't exactly crowded.
I've been doing Lego again. I know, I know, I should get out more. It's been raining. Anyway. This monster is over a meter long and took the best part of two days to complete. It took almost as long to get a decent photo!
