[Me, sharing a hike I did where I saw a waterfall on Nextdoor] Some guy: Is the hike kid friendly? Me: It might be difficult. Some parts are pretty steep. Guy: My kids are seasoned hikers. Me: Then wtf are you asking?

If hummingbirds drank blood, I don't think there'd be a scarier animal on the planet. Imagine, whizzing little darts in the air going straight for your jugular.
Well, the guy showed up to buy the ebike. 1 hour late. But ☝️ he was profusely apologetic about being late and had a vague european accent, which I thought was awfully sexy and considerate of him. I sold him the ebike and bid him adieu.
It's the curmudgeonly old man in me that wants to wait for this guy, who is now 25 minutes late to view the ebike I have for sale on Marketplace, just to tell him that he's late so he doesn't get to buy the ebike. No text. Nothing. Just flaked out.
Record numbers of dads are sneaking off to eat In & Out alone without their families so they don't have to spend $95 every time they want a cheeseburger.
I'm thinking of doing another Elden Ring playthrough after I finish this playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077. Gotta pick a "theme" for my character though.
I had 8pm-12am tonight to play Cyberpunk 2077. I'm doing a Rebecca from Edgerunners playthrough, which requires a series of mods playing nice with each other. So far, I'm 3hrs and 12mins into loading, testing, removing, and reordering mods. If I'm lucky, I might actually get to play tonight.
Goddamn, is it so hard to be a talented artist or writer and also not a weird pedophilic grooming gross piece of shit?
To hell with cast iron, I forge my pans! And yes, they're terrible!
Are you telling me that most men walk around NOT wearing an undershirt, just sweating into their garments like floozies? Just nipples brushing against outerwear like little hussies??
I've only ever been in a real echo chamber one time in my life but the experience really resonated with me.
I should say that I don't hate AI entirely. I'm passionate about ways that it can help propel forward science; make new breakthroughs in gene therapy and build on top of itself to eventually make sci-fi a reality. What I HATE is AI slop and misuse. I HATE that it's being used to abuse humans.
Ice cream sandwiches require very very VERY specific kinds of "bread".
I have never ever seen a woman on TikTok live who doesn't have giant honkers. Why is that.
Is anyone else in a position in their career where they wish they could be doing anything else, really anything, but their current job pays too well to shift to anything more interesting or fulfilling? Feels like being stuck. Every day. Especially since AI has ruined web development.
Looks like it's going to be another manic posting on bluesky day for me! Wheeeee!
I routinely wear sunglasses inside of businesses and stores. I used to make the switch from my prescription sunglasses to regular glasses but I had to carry around the bulky case and it was a pain. That said, I've ordered some lightly-tinted glasses for indoor-outdoor use and I'm super excited.
I really dislike being on a ketogenic diet. I get so sick of not eating rice or bread. I love a morning pastry with my coffee. I am a vessel for good pasta. But my A1C is hella high and now it's not and I can't argue with results. 😒
I understand the dead internet theory but, just reading Reddit for 10 minutes this morning, I'm actually rooting for it to be all robots because the comments? God damn.
It's bisexual awareness month; what are y'all getting me? Cuffed pants filled with lemon bars stamped with finger guns? MY FAVORITE!
Me: We're not getting Little Caesars. It made everyone sick last time. My Teenage Son: Eh. Let's get it anyway. I have a good feeling about it this time. My daughter in 5th Grade who has recently learned about literary devices: *Gasp!* Foreshadowing!
Toy Story cuck fantasy where "You've Got a Friend in Me" takes on new meaning.
