I’ve had impending doom anxiety about my scheduled surgery for 3 months, you don’t need to remind me via text, email, direct message, and phone call in the same day. I’m well aware.
Found out theres a great local ceramic supply store. I treated my myself to my own tools and put together a sweet little kit. The house tools at the studio are fine but I’m already tired of dull trimmers, dirty brushes, and trying to track down a needle tool.

This spicy garlic toripaitan will definitely keep me safe from vampires tonight. It included spicy garlic oil, fried garlic, and roasted garlic.
I fear I have become stricken with pottery madness. I got my first few pieces bisque fired and I’m thrilled with a little travel mug I made. I also spent a bit of time on a few more pieces - an angular mug and two lidded jars.

Learned and did a bunch of trimming today but I always make time to practice throwing. I was pretty proud to get these both done in less than 30 minutes, way quicker than before.

Today’s pottery practice. Had a lesson on hand building and made a small version of a concept I had in mind for a Crunchwrap plate with a side container for sauce packets. Then I stayed in the studio and practiced a bit more on the wheel with a bowl and bellying out walls. Fun stuff!

Pottery class left me covered in clay, starving, over heated, and sore, so it was a blast. Went up to two pounds, pulled a very chunky vase, and rewarded myself with Taco Bell. Pretty good day

Started a pottery class today and let me just say pottery fucking RIPS dude. I could play with clay all day. We weren’t even supposed to learn pulling walls today but I had extra time.

I skipped this one on the free psn games but my buddy texted me to download it and play with her. Had a blast. We ended up playing for hours. Honey I shrunk the kids + light survival + kinda fortnite vibes but very fun and fairly casual so far. Really beautiful too
