The wooden carving she bought was that of a tiny dragon. Ironically enough… She placed it inside of a plastic bag she was carrying and started walking down the street, looking at other stalls selling other trinkets and odds.

It was the combination of both, Yang did certainly resemble her mother in some ways, the red eyes, the long flowing hair, the only major difference was the fashion sense. This woman practically looked like Yang took styling tips from Blake's ex...

More than her face, what really caught the attention was her eyes, red in a way that seemed very rare. The woman glanced at her side at the faununs who stopped beside her before turning her attention back at a vendor, giving them a bit of Lien to pay for a small wooden carving she was buying. ++

Blake also happened to be walking the streets near a marketplace in Vacuo. Getting settled in after their stint in the Ever After. As hectic as it was, Remnant was a welcome blast of normalcy where at least the world acted as expected. At least that's what she thought before she saw something odd.

Blake understood the assignment, throwing Gambol Shroud towards their legs and bouncing it off the ground, firing it to control its momentum and to bind their legs at the joints. The thin ribbon should be able to make movement difficult for them and allow Yang to knock them down. ++

"Ever been on a mangrove before? Reminds me of that smell, just a bit more putrid... Like something died in there..." Well, something DID just die... One of the crabs tried to pinch Blake from behind but an explosive punch from Yang deflected it. "So... I have a plan..."

Blake dashed back towards the second crab to attempt to slow it just like the first. Their shells seemed to be extremely hardened and her pistol seemed to not penetrate the chitinous armor. The stench of the one Yang detonated hit her heightened senses making her gag "That smells disgusting..."

"All right, this works!" Some dark water started to rain from the explosion… it stank… "Ew…" The crab Blaked was aiming at started to spin in the sand, throwing sand everywhere and trying to protect its legs.

Blake dispatched a leg on one of the charging crabs, hoping it'd slow it down as she looked for higher ground to get both of them two "These things are hard to bring down... How much firepower do they think we have?!" Lunging in to a leg on the same side of the same crab to stop it's balance

Seeing how Blake was able to take out the original's claw she figured that aiming for the joints was their best bet. "Yang! Aim for the joints!" Leaping towards one of the two heading her way, Blake tried to use Gambol Shroud's blade as a pry bar to get into the joints and try to disable them.

another one. She punched it down on its shell, but it had no effect... Using her impulse to jump off the crab and leaving a charge there... It explodes... and nothing happened... "Those things are really thought, I guess I have to hit them in their soft spots."

Blake got up from the ground, dusting the sand off of her outfit as it would likely cling to the material. "Yeah I'm fine..." Seeing the others emerge she readied herself to throw down with the large crustaceans. "I hate this desert... Grimm is one thing but normal animals too..."

just got a pair of pincers trying to squeeze her… Yang quickly jumped on her feet in time to punch away the pincers trying to grab them. "Wait… don't those things come in…" More movement in the sand… three other mole crabs emerged… "Groups…"

"Yang! Watch out!" Blake quickly sprung into action to defend her fellow huntress. Seeing Yang having its pincer held, she fired into the joints of the pincer to either disable it or get it to release her. All the while charging forwards towards Yang, ready to try and tackle her free...

A Mole Crab… a massive crab-like creature native to Vacuo emerged, grabbing Yang with its pincer. She struggled to hold the pincer open and not snap on her and hurt her Aura, but she looked truly stuck there. "Okay… not a Grimm… Just… Vacuo being Vacuo…"
