Gave Chrono Cross a whirl and this time not bouncing off of it: it feels like a Kawazu game that actually hits most design goals even if theyre not liked. The story just doesn't throw you head first and the battle system doesn't kick in til the viper manor.

got these horror short story compilation zines in the mail, really neat, paper smells nice which is the most important part
watched the last ep of TADC in the theatre, overall the show reminds me of that one Voyager episode where human fear itself manifests in a VR program. Both I think work the narrative well without resorting to dream logic or being too abstract
