Be real with me: is it possible for a team of 4 full time job havers to win a Splatoon major?
Splat bros any idea how much something like this could sell for? Was gonna keep if it was a Switch 2 controller but the aura isn’t worth the worse motion controls lol
Attending a world cup game and keeping up with the tournament has really gotten me into the sport, I think I'm gonna keep following it after It also makes me really miss being in a team environment though lol, I haven't really filled that void
Had the urge to relapse after watching NAL but big sendou thinks I'm iron 🥀 I went a whole set without dying lmaooo I felt bad

Got 3rd at a City Trial LAN, Catalyst in Philly My first tournament for this game. Someone actually recognized me from my yt vids and the TO recognized me from Splatoon which was kind of surreal lol I love City Trial
Watching a 4v4 City Trial tournament The low stakes, the casual competitive nature, the light hearted comms, the disconnects, the stream… Everything reminds me of her
Speaking from personal experience, the best way to get good at Splatoon isn’t ranked, it’s scrimming. But the community killed that in favor of Sendou Q, so now it’s ranked by default lol Anecdotally I was definitely at my best as a player when I could scrim for hours straight with my bros
I bought Digimon Time Stranger last night and its depiction of Shinjuku is so cool Stuff like Digimon/Persona/etc always make me jealous, I wish there was an RPG that takes place in NYC… I really liked Earthbound for its American themes, I really hope something like that exists eventually

Let this be a lesson to younger Splatoon players to please learn how to read between the lines. You do not need to form and vocalize your opinion on something the moment you find out about it. Especially if you don’t have all the context.

I found a YT channel recently that does quick, funny recaps of moments/players/controversies in competitive Overwatch’s history I really wish Splatoon had this. It feels like the real history of the games, outside of just results, gets lost to time All Splatoon content I see is just knowledge slop
