First day of spring. You wake up to the early morning sun. You raise your hand to shield your eyes from the bright light, but you see a paw instead.
Today at the trade meeting with the project manager and all the different trades foreman, it was brought up that our trade was allowed 120 days to get the first phase of the building to the trusses.... my crew hammered it out in under 50 and passed our first 3 levels of structural inspections 😆

The world might be going to hell around us. The outlook seems bleak, but you have to push forward . I've fought tooth and nail to get to where I am, survived things that should have broken me. Don't ever give up . Every day, just keep looking for the light no matter how small it seems!!

When things get rough, the whole idea about screaming into the void is useless... grab it by the throat and make it work for you... The one thing I learned, in a situation that's working against you find what's not working and turn the tide on it... they'll never know what hit them 😏

I've been asked how and why I do it. Work in shitty situations, day after day, constantly beat down, long hours, and multiple injuries . My answer is the guys next to me . I work with some of the most dedicated tradesmen, and no matter how hard it gets, every day is fun for some reason . 😆

In joking fun the injuries I've sustained in this profession are all good and fun. I seem to always bounce back, but that hasn't always been the case. My industry is rough and have had to deal with witnessing my coworkers permanently maimed and a few loss of life... This industry is brutal
