🌈 Naturist and Husband. Living in harmony with nature while nude “with the intention of encouraging self-respect, respect for others and for the environment”

July was WILD. Not bad, very good overall. But nowhere near what I would have anticipated in any way. Much of the yard work and gardening was ignored, though, and these tomato plants have gotten unruly. I took some time to try to get them going UPWARD tonight, hoping to improve airflow below.

Hey! If you’re neurotypical, does your brain, like, just go quiet sometimes? What’s that like, not constantly having noise/thoughts going on all the time? And to my neurospicies - have you found any reasonable ways to calm it down, even if only for 20-30 minutes at a time?

The yard work doesn’t wait for me to have a weekend… so I am squeezing in chores in the early mornings and even in the later evenings. Soon enough, the evenings will be swarming with mosquitoes, so I need to get stuff done now.

I will be attending PlantCon in Chicago in a couple of weeks. I thought it would be fun to make some stickers to give away or trade with others there. I decided this both represents my passion for naturism AND my passion for plants (more houseplants in this context).

I had a few rough days that kept me inside and resting over the weekend, but luckily the weather was AMAZING this evening, so I was still able to get some work done. This will become a sea of daisies. 🤞🤞 (No repost, please.)

I’m in a mood to see pretty things. Comment with a photo that represents “pretty” to you. I’ll go first. This is Buzz, my baby dog. (He’s not a puppy anymore, but he is absolutely my shadow.) Share something - anything - from your photos. New or old, doesn’t matter. 🙂

I have experienced several “firsts” on this trip, and these are a few that were very much unplanned: - skinny dipped in the Gulf - completely nude in a public place - urinated in public - gave the keys to hubby to drive after I downed two drinks (Note: I didn’t have ANY drinks before the first 3)

We spent the day (all of it) at the Kennedy Space Center. I highly recommend it. (And it didn’t feel like pro-USA propaganda, as I feared it might. It also wasn’t pro-SpaceX or -Blue Origin or any other.)

I had a wonderful visit to Blind Creek Beach today. The weather was wonderful, and it was just starting to get more crowded when I was ready to pack up. If you haven’t been before, it’s a great beach to be clothes-free. And the new parking lot is quite nice. Easy access to the beach, too. 👍👍

It’s not exactly warm, but the sun felt great on this WNGD. You’ll never guess what I planted… But now I’m indoors, working on potting-on my seedlings that have been growing in the basement for the past few months. The season is coming!

World Naked Gardening Day is this Saturday (the first Saturday in May), so of course the weather is going to be on the chilly side. Luckily, I get to garden in the buff rather frequently, and I’m pretty adaptable to cool temperatures. Learn more about WNGD: wngd.net

It’s a weekend of nice weather, which means a weekend of work in the garden. Yesterday, my purpose was to move rocks/stones from the old barn foundation out into the garden beds. Today, we’re removing more grass to make room for perennials.

I’ve had an offline convo with Linda, and I think I can clarify my intention here: we can be actively involved in helping drive change if we know what help is needed. I don’t have the privilege of attending the board/annual meetings. But I can call/write to people if I know what’s going wrong.

This was an interesting interview, and I came away with questions: 1- If the 7 trustees are the problem, how can members influence them? Who are they, and how do we contact them? 2- What are they preventing? What’s in the agenda that is stalling?

I’m in line at a fast food drive thru. A minivan pulled up behind me with their music BLASTING. The song? The hit “The Wheels On The Bus”. That song ends, and the next one starts. Another kids song, right? Nope. “Peaches” by Justin Bieber.
