Happy first day of August! It's still hot, hot, hot here, but we're starting to see a few signs of autumn. We're looking forward to cooler mornings and a breeze in the air. 🐱🐶🦝🍂 In the meantime, keep putting out those bowls of water and cool-down stations. They do a lot of good!

It's really heating up out there, folks! Please put out a bowl (or a few bowls) of water for feral and community cats and local critters. Our bowls have been visited by cats, 'possums, raccoons, and even a few squirrels. 🐱🐝🦝🐾Whatever you do will be appreciated. It's a tough world out there.
It may seem simple, but a water bowl or two left in the shade and refreshed frequently can save lives at this time of year. It's a small way to be kind and help our our feral and community critters during this hot summer. 🐱🐇🐾
A simple reminder, summer or winter, that a knock on the hood of your car saves lives. 🐱❤️
Please be considerate while you celebrate. 🐶🐱🐿️🎆

It's a hard world out there. Sometimes the only bright spot for us was caring for our little feral & community critters. We know many of you feel the same way. We want you to know you are seen and appreciated. The things you do are making the world a better place. Kindness is contagious. 🐶🐱🐾❤️
As adorable as they are, feral & community kittens face a very hard life. We know it isn't always possible because of cost or because you simply cannot catch a cat, but please please spay and neuter when you can. Many pet community centers will loan you traps & offer discounted spay/neuter. 🐈🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛
March 20 may have been the 'official' start of spring, but May 1 feels like the true beginning here. We hope you're having sunny days and some springtime fun wherever you are. And thank you for all you do for feral and community cats and critters. Your kind heart is appreciated. 🐱🐿️🐾

Spring has definitely sprung here and we're up against hotter than usual temperatures. We usually refill our critter water basins a few times a day to make sure water is nice and fresh. 🐱🐿️🐾
I want to enter a room with the energy of a cat: “Is there anything I can mess up or eat in here? Nah? Well, anyway, you're lucky to have me!"
Over the years we've had quite a few "Bobs," who we fed, provided shelter and medicine, and TNR'ed without ever having the chance to give them a cuddle. But we are sure they know they are loved and have a home now even if that doesn't mean we can touch them. What you do makes a difference. 🐱❤️
Good morning and welcome to marvellous marmalade Monday The way you speak to yourself shapes your day. Choose thoughts that feel lighter, moments that feel kinder and things that nourish your soul.

It seems like the cold weather isn't 'quite' finished with us yet. For all of you out there dealing with chilly temperatures later this week, stay warm! Spring is just around the corner. 🐱🐶🐾❄️
We couldn't help but notice there was a bit of spring warmth in the air this morning. Even as chilly as it still is in some places, we can hope that brighter days are around the corner. 🐱❤️ #catsky #feralcats #hope
Happy Valentine's Day to all the kind hearted folks out there working to make the world a brighter place. We'd give you a hug if we could. Know you are appreciated and loved. ❤
Only 43 days til spring. The cats have cozy shelters, plenty of food and water. But there's nothing like those first warm days of spring. While cleaning up after the storm we found a patch of bloodroot. We can't wait til we have bloodroot, trillium, spring beauty, and trout-lily everywhere.
This fat little office cat refused to come out from under a blanket today. Does that count as a prediction for an early spring? Fingers crossed. 🌱🪻🌞 #groundhogsday #earlyspring
We've been a bit snowed under ourselves for the past few days. We hope wherever you are, that you've fared better and that you and the feral and community cats and critter you care for are safe and warm. 🐱🐶🦝🐾🌞
