My landlord’s husband came over today to turn off the sprinkler system for the season, and while he was at it he mowed the lawn and changed the air filter even though I could have done those things and gosh, having a husband is so nice
I spent the weekend babysitting, spending time with family, and celebrating my baptism anniversary. It is well 💜

I was too tired to stay at work, so I came home to rest, but apparently I am also too tired to nap.
I’ve been trying really hard to go to sleep earlier and I’m so tired but I’m afraid if I go to sleep I’m going to wake up underwater
The worst part about all this rain is that my garage is under attack of these MASSIVE earthworms. They squeeze themselves under the door or along the crack in the middle of the floor and it is so gross anytime I leave or come home.
Find me a coffee shop that allows their regular, plain coffee drinkers to slip behind the counter and pour their own coffee instead of waiting in line, and I will be their most loyal customer

Please dont make me wait behind someone getting a coffee milkshake to get my black coffee. Their drink takes longer to order than mine does to pour.
I just learned it is National Coffee Day, and I feel even worse. Like I forgot my best friend’s birthday.

I’ve used the elevator 4 times today, and every time I pushed the button, the doors opened immediately in front of me. I am God’s favored one.
I think I went a little overboard with the bleach while I was cleaning and the fumes burned the inside of my nose and now everything smells funny
A hair mask, the fancy facial routine, a glass of wine, and a romcom are doing WONDERS for morale in these parts
The first shower after you chop your hair and you automatically pour out shampoo for your old hair length but now it’s entirely too much for your new length so you’re just standing there with a handful of soap like 😶🌫️
Where was all this rain this summer? In all of August and September, I think it’s rained more days than it hasn’t. I am all wet. Turning into a mermaid.
