The only reason data centers use so much water is that it's cheap. They can have closed loop cooling (like a fridge) or air cooling. But they cost more. Presumably the heat could be used to generate electricity, or just as local heat, but again that would cost. This could be regulated. #datacentres

Greatly amused by Trump dismissing Andy Burnham as a "liberal" as if that is in some way a bad thing. Though I suspect we're going to find out that he isn't liberal enough..

Disappointed by Starmer's resignation. I was no great fan but musical chairs in No.10 is not the way forward and Starmer has not been the disaster many portray him to be.

At the very least the bars should not be able to serve alcohol when either house is sitting. It's the 21st century, in most professions you'll be disciplined or even sacked for being drunk in the office. It's not the 1980s any more. Or the 1880s.
