Just over a month until October when I'll do Inktober again. Last year I tried to focus on lineart but I may try something else this year. I still want to aim for one "complete" piece a day but I'm wondering if I should aim to lean more on a different aspect of the art.

My standard phrase when joining a Discord VC is "Hello, it is I: the Simm". Originally it started as a play on "It was me, Dio" from JJBA. But I realized over time that it was a good way to let people know who joined if they were unable to view the Discord window because games/drawing/etc.
Unfortunately you can't do shit about someone who is committed to misunderstanding you. Instead you can move forward without needing the last word. What's the point in arguing for the sake of arguing? Bc that's exactly what it turns into when the other party has their mind made up about you already
People joke about making valid `tar` commands imo it's nothing compared to figuring out `awk`. `grep` and `sed` are easy enough to make basic, valid commands for but the third of the text manipulation trinity makes me feel like I'm committing a crime every time I use it.

It's only really in the live version, but the drums after "knock on the door" in Sonata Arctica's FullMoon feel so natural that listening to versions without it feels like something is missing. Likewise with Tony's villain laugh in Don't Say a Word.
