Over half a million notifications sent 🚀 Still going brrr 💜 (And apparently it passed the milestone a few days ago and I only just noticed 😅) apps.apple.com/us/app/brrr-...
New blog post! 📝 “Put Your Coding Agents in Your Pocket” I wrote about the setup I’ve been using to access the coding agents running on my Mac from my iPhone. Because my desk is not where all my best ideas happen. simonbs.dev/posts/put-yo...
Put Your Coding Agents in Your Pocket
Here's how I use Prompt, Tailscale, tmux, and brrr to access Codex, Claude, and other terminal-based agents from my iPhone.

Critical alerts are now in brrr 📳 brrr 1.1 is available for iPhone and Mac. Critical alerts break through mute, Do Not Disturb, and Focus. You decide what's critical. Link in 🧵
Very much enjoy getting these notifications on my iPhone when Codex, Claude, and Copilot finish working while I'm away from the computer 🚀 github.com/simonbs/brrr...
It’s now super easy to integrate brrr with Copilot and get notified when it needs your attention. This is available in version 0.2.0 of brrr-cli. 📟 CLI: github.com/simonbs/brrr... 📖 Setup guide: brrr.now/learn/copilot/

Introducing Stroke Counter for Golf 🚀🏌️♂️ I got tired of those tiny plastic stroke counters. They break, get lost, and you end up buying new ones all the time. So I built Stroke Counter for Apple Watch. A simple way to count strokes from your wrist. strokecounter.app
The past couple of days, I had an itch to scratch. So I built Cubby. Drag files into a shelf and instantly open them in Codex or Claude in a temporary workspace. I can also spin up an agent in an empty workspace.
I’ve been working on something… and it’s now on the App Store! 👀 Introducing brrr 🚀 Push notifications to your own devices. Instantly. No signup. No dashboard. No nonsense. Link in 🧵
wut? is my tiny and extremely opinionated CLI for managing Git worktrees Git worktrees are powerful but too tedious for short-lived sessions. wut? makes them easier: • auto-ignored .worktrees/ per repo • simple commands to create, remove, and jump between worktrees
Open-sourcing our reusable GitHub Actions 🤖🚀 github.com/shapehq/acti... We just open-sourced our collection of reusable actions used across iOS, Android, and backend projects at Framna in Denmark. We’ve built this over the past couple of years while moving all our CI to GitHub Actions.

Real and virtual snow combining in Amsterdam. (Thanks @simonbs.dev for the Festivitas app!)
Listening to Upgrade and was super surprised and stoked to hear that Festivitas won Best Newcomer Mac App! 🫨🎄 Thank you, @snell.zone and @imykel.bsky.social 🫶 overcast.fm/+AAFcm-Z9E1M...
From busted Ascaso Steel Duo Plus to a Linea Mini R… what a powerhouse 😍 After a 6-month battle with the retailer I got (most of) my money back for the Ascaso, and now I’ve replaced it with a La Marzocco. Feels like a machine I’ll be pulling shots on for a long, long time ☕️✨
My Home Screen is decorated for New Year’s Eve with Festivitas 😄🎆
And with that, Festivitas informs me that it’s Christmas 🎄 I suppose that wraps up peak season for Festivitas, but it has light bulbs suited for many occasions throughout the year. Several users have even told me they run it year-round!
💟 Open-sourcing SFSymbols A Swift package with an SF Symbols picker and a simple API for the SF Symbols catalog. I’m using it in a side project that isn’t released yet, so it’s not fully battle-tested, but I thought others might still find it useful 🤗 github.com/simonbs/SFSy...

GitHub will start charging per-minute for self-hosted runners in private repositories. I’m not a fan. Charging is one thing and could be reasonable, but charging per-minute is a different game. This is screams “fuck you for not paying us to use our runners”.
Festivitas 1.1.2 for iPhone and iPad is available now. The update introduces the “Show Whole Days” setting. Enabling it causes the countdown to show only days, so it no longer shows hours, minutes, or seconds. Get Festivitas 👇 festivitas.app
Last talk (and rehearsal) before my Christmas vacation kicks off tomorrow, and I thought I’d embrace my holiday mood and do it with Festivitas running 😄
