Sitting somewhere between folk, jazz, alt and post-rock. The new album by Boa Morte is like nothing else I've heard. Do yourself a favour...
I had meetings in the pub this week. I like meetings in the pub.
I need to go on #retreat. It needs to be somewhere I can get to on public transport ideally. Suggestions very welcome.
A great day. Once a month I intentionally step back. Sometimes I read Sometimes I dream Sometimes I plan Today was a chance to catch up on a few things that have remained unfinished for a few weeks. I nailed them today.
Man that was hard! No Sanguine Hum. No Haken. No The Bad Plus. No Celtic Frost. No Leprous. No Voyager. No DVNE. No Catherine Wheel. No Porcupine Tree. No Sugar. No Radiohead (especially KidA/Amnesiac). No Oceanside. No Mansun. There. It's out in the world now. #my9albums
I am unspeakably happy. (And full of bubbly!) No photos. First confirmation at All Saints since 2019. 4 people confirming their willingness to walk in the Way. I'm an emotional mess God is good
Top night with top people (@judgedewie.bsky.social and @stuartintrosley.bsky.social) enjoying music by @mattstevensloop.bsky.social's top band
It arrived! Great looking bundle from #TFATD. Looking forward to Saturday night! #progsky @mattstevensloop.bsky.social

In October, I’ll be walking 62 miles to raise funds for Refuge and to make a stand (or rather, walk) against domestic abuse and violence www.justgiving.com/fundraising/...

I’ve seen the affect this abuse has on people. I’ve witnessed it myself. It should never, ever be tolerated or allowed to pass by. The perpetrators of the crimes should never escape justice for their actions. They are the most pathetic and cowardly scum in society
Please, please share far and wide. Even if you can’t contribute, awareness can become an escape route for someone. Discussion and understanding can save lives. Share stories, listen and believe victims and survivors
We hold a fantastic street food event in our churchyard once a month. We were a bit smaller than it is sometimes. The reason I prioritise being at it in my collar was brought home to me last night 3 times:
Anyhoo, hello you lot. It's my rest day today so a chance to touch base here. What one thing has surprised you in recent days?
It's been a week of more ups than downs but w/ some tough stuff to navigate. The joy has been finding God in unlikely encounters and unexpected places. I'm tired but full of gratitude. Delighted to meet my new bishop on Wednesday. Welcome to this part of my world @andrewrumsey.bsky.social

Life lesson #476267393999 Sometimes it's good to sit and do very little. Today is one of those days.
I'm 53. Today I got that email. I need to consider my financial future and options available to me if I plan on retiring with the next 15 years. Zoiks
It's not #gin as expected earlier but as my late grandad used to say - bubbles are always the answer
It's been a week. I'm hiding under a metaphorical rock for a few hours. There may be the need for gin.
