To prepare for my surgery on Monday, I've just removed all the hair between my lips and thighs. Utterly disgusting. Utterly traumatic. Came out for an ice cream to help me forget. (Coffee and vanilla, a cone).

Paris streets are quiet for a Saturday, many shops boarded up. This is the week to have shares in a chipboard factory. It may come to nothing, there may not be any rioting again, but I'm staying in tonight, I don't want to be teargassed for a third time.
Last night... On my way home I was caught by tear gas again, and it was more painful this time. I stood, unable to see, hoping it would pass, when three young people wearing masks noticed me, and, they were prepared, gave me eyedrops to clear the stinging. Perhaps not all rioters are bad.
I was in central Paris last night, my eyes stinging from drifted tear gas fumes. Many rioters wearing keffiyas... A clear illustration of What starts with the Jews doesn't end with the Jews.
