Watched Insiders. We need to move past "budget neutral" tax reform. Offsetting new gas taxes with corporate cuts will ignore our structural deficit. The real question should be What standard of living do we want & what tax/policy settings fund/enable it? Can't deny/avoid the structural deficit.

It is unbelievable that corporate Democrats can say this. Carvilles strategy is to play dead for midterms that won't be free. Can you imagine how ridiculous people who said this of Hitler in 1933 as he corrupted the legal system, undertook political progress and dismantled democratic institutions?
