Last day in Phnom Penh and time to say goodbye to my colleagues at the Ministry of Interior. Killing a few hours wandering around the Royal Palace and the riverfront. You can see where the sediment heavy waters of the Tonlé Sap in the foreground meet the clear Mekong water.

A rather depressing day in Phnom Penh. Toul Sleng museum. About 20000 are estimated to have been imprisoned here by the Khmer Rouge. Only 12 known survivors. The cherry tree is at the Killing Fields where prisoners from Toul Sleng were taken to be killed.

The wonderful Kosmonavtlar #Tashkent metro station featuring Yuri Gagarin and many others. Found out today that until about 2018 I would have been arrested for taking these as the metro stations doubled as bomb shelters.
