Unintentionally aesthetic picture of my produce last night. I was just trying to layer in the least squished way and then thought oh this looks nice 😂 Ended up picking several more tomatoes after this as well.
I could never do more complicated quilting because even the simple ones like this are 90% pressing. I’ve logged so many pressing hours augh
A week late, but swapped out my kitchen spring art for summerish art. I thought I had a before picture but could only find this random one. Anyway, spring was Casey Robin purchased at WonderCon and summer is @untroubledheart.bsky.social purchased on Etsy! Still looking for a winter set 🤔

Summer Totoro noren! Not only did I change it timely, but I didn’t put spring away dirty. I put it aside to hand wash so uh, we’ll see how long before it’s put away 😂
I can only do about two hours of intense looking before I start to go cross eyed, but spotted this black and white Dorid (I think?) on my way back to the shore yesterday and aaaugh it’s just so cute. Possibly one of my favorite nudibranch 💕
Some of the nudibranch I saw today. I often poke a finger in for a size reference or to hold the seaweed steady oooor recently discovered my fingers act like a reflection and help the camera light not blow out the slug 😂
Couple of weeks ago went tide pooling three days in a row, which. I need to do more squats y’all. I think these are all from 05/22 in Pescadero, Hopkin’s Rose, Spotted Triopha, Laguna Beach Aeolid, and Festive Aeolid (new to me!). I saw some other new to me, but these are my fave pics I think.
The babies are nine today 😱 Eomer and Eowyn are on a diet but I’ll still give them a birthday treat when I get home 😂
Season change! Didn’t realize I put Spring away a but dirty 😬 It’s also someone faded because I had it up for over a year after I forgot to change them 🤦♂️

A smattering of Hopkins Rose nudibranch from Pacific Grove on Sunday. My underwater camera light washes them out a bit, they were all much brighter than they seem here!

Snapshots from my San Diego weekend! Only second time going to SD outside of Comic Con… so of course I went to the Comic Con museum! While there discovered that there was a da Vinci exhibit at the Air & Space museum, and when we returned for that we caught a free PotO concert on the outdoor organ 🎭
There were a lot of really beautiful, really insightful, and rightfully angry signs yesterday but I really enjoyed and saw a few variations of this sign. Kind of a two-for-one with promoting the endangered Monarch.
Posting fun things feels weird given the state of the world, but given the state of the world fun things help. D and I went to a 1920s fundraiser for Ainsley House in Campbell, the blue fabric of my dress and my shoes were thrift finds, and the grey came from our combined leftover stashes.

I went to #Filoli for Dapper Days on Sunday, it was lovely! There was a live band and dancers, it made me want to find a place for swing dancing again. Outfit is 100% second hand, it’s a bit hard to tell but these shoes are a deep blue, they were a great find.
Went cherry picking today, soooo many cherries. So delicious.
