Last week I had to replace my whole A/C unit for downstairs. It was incredibly expensive, but at least it works better than ever down there now... EXCEPT NOW THE UPSTAIRS A/C IS OUT AND I HAVE TO REPLACE THAT TOO I HAVE ANGERED THE HVAC GODS

Far from perfect, and once I finally sat back and looked at it when I was done I noticed several problems - but I still feel like this marks a big improvement in my ability to draw a face from reference overall.

One more progress picture before I get some sleep; followed another video tutorial from SamDoesArts. It's the new best thing I've drawn and yet also I can't stop seeing the problems and fidgeting over them. But that's normal - I'm happy that I did this.

I'm starting to learn to draw. It's a slow process, and it's one of those things where I know what I should do, but at the same time I don't know what to do, if you get what I mean. I've got a long way to go, and it's kind of a daunting task, but I'm enjoying it so far.

Please close your fireplaces and chimneys and keep an eye on your combustibles - lava kobolds are known to chow down on loose firewood, charcoal, candles, kerosene... you get the idea. Sudri here is especially hungry. At least she's in the fireplace, so nothing should get burned... Art by Aurnxse!

I've skipped on family holiday gatherings before, but this is the first year that I've done so out of dread over a family member making me feel like I'm only wanted and welcomed because I'm useful to them. I love my family, and I know they love me even if I'm awkward, but this feels... different.
