I just realized that even if an object swatch in Paralives doesn't offer "patterns" you can still get some interesting, unique, looks for things. See this masonry texture I used on their bedsheets - I think it looks like a fun textured comforter 😊

He might be a bit buggy but he's adorable 🫶 Also god I love edit character mode in this game. Annoying you have to use a cheat to change a babies outfits but the ability to make what looks like a custom onesie from inside the game interface - AMAZING 🤩

As you may have guessed from my earlier posts, Duke and Gavin are now home owners 🫶😊! Working on updating their interior and I'm really happy with how this little dining room "china cabinet" turned out. This game as so much nice clutter already!
I do believe this is a dog door 😊🐶... I know pets are planned for future updates but its nice to see these little touches already built in that foreshadow those plans.
An example of the basegame build mistakes all the build content creators will be wincing at one day (if not already) 🤭 (In case you can't tell, the window on the left is actually 2 windows on top of each other in different styles)
Has anyone else been getting inactive/wrong age skill leveling as want options? This is the third time for Duke. First it was fishing, then language, now outdoorsiness 🤪
Poor Gav 🥺 - he got sick at work and missed dinner with Duke. He got treatment before he came home so he feels fine but he doesn't FEEL fine... I find it interesting that Paras hold onto their stress from getting sick after they are cured - it tracks - and this animation is sad but lovely 🥹
Wow Duke must have a really loud voice and a very quick mind - he's having conversation a with all four of these people at once while repairing a vending machine! Love that Paras can do this but the team needs to work on pathing and proper speaking distance 🤭
I have to say - even with no animation for it I appreciate that they boys can talk to each other while one of them is playing an instrument 🫶
Another Paralives Photo Trick! I've found that any item a para is holding will disappear in photomode (so I couldn't get Gav playing guitar for example) If you press Ctrl+H you can hide the user interface so you can screenshot with whatever native computer took you like!
This NPC helped me understand my pre baby body better 🙃 Does she look pregnant? Little bit Is she pregnant? Nope (according to the search I did) Her body shape is very similar to what mine was starting around high school... and yes I got the "expecting" question more than once🤦♀️🤪...
Thank you @paralives.com! The boys last rent bill was $1600 dollars because of a $1200 water bill 😮😬... this looks much better (it was a fix in the recent patch, patch notes linked in my thread)!
I honestly think this is the first time I've seen Gavin smile 🥹! In other news, I'm sad to say that judging by the way he's eating Duke apparently has an undiagnosed broken wrist... 🫣🤪😄
I was reading this post like it was a sims laundry list and thinking ugh cant wait for these fixes (particularly the group meals one) and then realized I don’t have to wait lol very excited to try this out

So I think this tells us that the constantly broken items around town are at least in part a feature, not a bug. Duke has been repairing a lot to raise repair lately and this appeared in the paper today:
