Anyone looking for a tough as old boots, drought resistant plant couldnt do better than this #KiwiFruit. It hasnt rained for 3 months yet this plant has not only grown to 6ft but seems to be thriving!😳 We dug it up last winter as it was HUGE but not fruiting left it in the pot & here we are😂 #garden

As I said previously, we didnt plant anything this year due the unpredictable nature of our travels so to see #tomatoes growing on these self seeded plants is just fabulous! We noticed them growing after we dug our compost bin into the #garden & here we are🥰 I just love home grown toms! #GrowYourOwn

Sadly one of only a few blooms in the #garden this year, Anemopsis is my new #pond plant! It's the 1st plant I've ever bought for the pond but I wanted a bit of colour & interest aside from our ancient water Lily I'm loving its rather unusual flower & hope there's more to come! #Bloomscrolling

Ive just put 5 watering cans (25 litres)of water into our #pond because the water level was so low. Ive been topping up regularly but this is the most. Its been really hot for months now, Wales is in drought & weve got hosepipe bans basically its looking bad all over the UK except Scotland #heatwave

I was given 'mixed botanicals' seeds by my daughters fella & couldn't wait to plant the #Cucumber because we had nothing planned Veg wise this year & I'm so pleased with it! There's lots of flowers & the beginnings of many little cucumbers so hopefully in a week of so we'll be eating them! #garden

The UK used to be a temperate climate known for rain & sun that couldnt be guaranteed. Thats all changed, this is our 4th #heatwave of the year. To explain, each area has different heatwave criteria, ours, the South West is 27°C for 3 days or more & 4 is very worrying news.sky.com/story/uk-set...

I cant believe the size of my #Maranta! I've been away a week leaving my precious #plants in the 'care' of my 'haven't got a clue about plants' daughter, all she had to do was mist them daily so I prayed 🙏 I shouldn't have worried! I've never seen so many flowers, I counted 20 stalks! #houseplants
