I feel like everyone has forgotten one of the most important lessons from the fight to legalize gay marriage: electing anti-gay Democrats and trying to persuade them after the fact never worked. Once they’re in office, you have no leverage. They already have what they want.
We live in some weird-ass Overton window shit when saying "Israel shouldn't bomb children" is "hurtful to some people", when advocating against racialized policing is somehow being anti-Police, and when being "anti-Fascist" is somehow controversial. Right Wingers have already won, you all...
