Been revising my bee character's thorax, specifically the arms & back. She's got an unreasonable number of scapula(oids) & they're a real pinching hazard! #3dart #anthro #insect #b3d

My procedural texture & #geonodes set up for wooden objects in #b3d is nearly complete. Handles live wood, dead wood, processed wood—the whole forest! Basically functions by creating a continuous 3D texture space which flows *along* the tree. #3dart #3dartist

Been working on a procedural material + #geonode setup for branches (& wood in general) in #b3d . The trick with wood is creating a texture space which follows the branch so you get a nice & natural flow in both the grain & bark. #3dart

A little beean animation test. Some pretty mean beeans!– but they've gotta be grippy if they're going to climb sheer surfaces. #3dart #animation #anthro #furryart #insect

Did a little digital painting study. Never 'painted' before, only ever 'sketched'. Was quite the learning experience. #digitalart #wildlife #study

Little roundabout of the bee's knees, now cleaned up & fuzzy. The fuzz is functional, it keeps grit & grim out of the joints (a more sensitive area than the chitin.) #3dart #anthro #insect

For whatever disadvantages may come with compound eyes, bugs are so lucky to have a sea of jewels at hand (or perhaps at head.) In truth, the appearance is a ruse!– just a parallax shader. #3dart #animation #furryart #anthro #insect

VULPECULA | vitreous conflux of stellar sand; eternity flows from my hand From my furry-celestial series, The Little Fox and Goose. I love the refraction in this, you can see in the brightest spots that she's made of the stellar sand she stands on and commands #furry #furryart #furryartist #anthro

A little rigging test of a bee's many knees. I wouldn't know what to do with this many joints, so better thee bee than mee! #3dart #animation #anthro #insect

Making a stellar snail of a sort. (Rigging at 90%, model at 95%.)

Head closeups. They're the first draft but they turned out well (though the feathers are kind of inconsistent, still figuring out what looks best)

Decided to stop lurking and start posting Doing some sketch practice, getting better at construction. A spaceslug of sorts
